This course introduces the student to the field of community psychology which is the branch of psychology that seeks to understand relationships between environmental conditions and the development of health and well-being of all members of a community. Students will study the development of the field of community psychology and its theories and paradigms of research and action. Additionally, students will concentrate on the practice of community psychology.
